Mobile Notary Travel Fees
Travel Fees must be paid prior to travel.
If you were given a Quote for your Personalized Service go here to the "Buy Now" button. Otherwise, you can follow the steps below to calculate your cost. If you are getting your document Apostille skip this section and go the the Apostille Fee Section.
In addition to the travel Fee, a fee of
$2.00 for each notary signature page is
expected and due upon signing your document. Credit card payment are payable on this website only!

PayPal accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover credit cards. There is no additional charge to you for using PayPal. Apostille Fee
If you are going to use your document in a foreign county that are part of the Hague convention then your document only needs to be Apostille. See Special Note below for commercial documents.
Birth Certificates, Death Certificate, Marriage Certificate, School Transcripts and Diploma see special notes.

Completion time 12 - 24 hours depending on the work load at the various New York State & New York County offices that have to be visited and the complexity of your request.
Apostille Discounts
If all of your document are going to the same country with the same notary stamp, ( e.g. "Qualified in Kings County" or "Qualified in Suffolk County", etc) you can take the following discounts off your the total cost. Otherwise, document that do not fit into the above criteria require additional work and are charged at the $125.00 per document rate.
Returning clients Save $10.00 off a single document.

3 documents - $330.00, Save $ 45.00.
4 documents - $450.00, Save $ 50.00.
5 documents - $550.00, Save $ 75.00.
6 documents - $650.00, Save $100.00.

What service company has the lowest price?
Special Note: If you have an Commercial related document. There are some Hague Convention countries that will accept an Apostille document, however, if you document is of a Commercial nature dealing with Import or Export there is an additional Embassy Legalization fee or there maybe an additional fee per document that the Embassy charges to process your commercial document.
Next, There are no additional or hidden fees for New York State Apostille, unless you require special return mail handling. If you are not located in the NYC/Long Island area or you require special return mail handling then go to step 6 to select the various return mail options available to you. If you do not select a special mail option you document will be return to you by Local Courier or US Postal Mail depending on your location.
Now that you have made your payment, you can contact us to schedule a pickup of your document. Or if you choose you can mail your documents to the address in Step 8.
Please call first to make sure all required documents are properly prepared for processing.
Document being processed in another state require additional time for processing. If you require Expedited (faster) processing for your local or out of state documents. Then go to Step 5 to select the various Expedited Service options available to you.

Birth, Marriage & Death Certificate
If you want NYNOTARY4U to retrieve & provide you with the correct certificate to be Apostille, select this option. This fee covers the additional stamp on the back, certification & Signature of the City Clerk necessary to certify your certificate so it can be Apostille.Embassy Legalization - Step 1
Embassy Legalization is just a little more complicated to set-up, but if you follow these steps its very easy. This is going to be an 9 step process, not all steps are required.
If you are going to use your document in a country that is NOT a member of the Hague convention then you need an Embassy Legalization. Embassy Legalization is more time consuming and requires additional research about the embassy requirements. Some embassy have special hours, many requires your passport or may not have an office here in NYC. The legalization fee starts at $125.00 USD per Embassy Legalization document.
The complete Legalization process includes:

- New York State Notary Stamp*
- New York City Notary Certification *
- New York State Secretary of State Certification *
- United State Department of State Authentication *
- Your Embassy Legalization
- FREE Courier Service between all locations **
Completion time 1 - 10 days depending on Embassy/Consulate hour of operation, their work load and the location of the Embassy.

Embassy Fee - Step 2
Countries that are not part of the Hague convention allow their embassy to charge a different amount to get your document legalized. We have no control over these fees and the cost for legalization varies from one embassy to another. This fee can range from $1.00 to $600.00
This fees is in addition to your Legalization fee you selected in Step 1 above.
If you have more than one document that is going to the same country you can update the number of documents by updating the number in your Shopping cart when it is displayed.
All Embassy fees must be paid for in advance before any work can be started.
If your country is not listed call us or email us for a price.
Next, If your Embassy/Consulate is not located in New York City (NYC) then add a courier fee to your cart.

Courier Fee - Step 3
If the Embassy/Consulate is not located with in NYC a courier fee is required. If you are not sure of the Embassy location, each Embassy is located in Washington, DC, do not worry. Any fees for service not provided or used will be refunded back to you.
Next, if your document is considered commercial you must add a Chamber of Commerce Fee in step 4.Chamber of Commerce - Step 4
This fee only applied only for Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice, Packing Slip or Halal (حلال, Halāl, Halaal) Certificate in some countries. If your document is NOT defined as Commercial - you can skip this step and go to step 5. Otherwise, select this option.
Next, How fast do you want your document processed?
Expedited Service Option - Step 5
Expedited Service is available if your document is going to Washington, DC or any other state to be Apostille or Legalized. We will use FedEx "First Overnight" Service or FedEx "Same Day Service" to make sure your document arrive first thing in the morning for processing. For mission Critical/Same Day Service you must call so I can arrange & schedule a pickup with FedEx. Same Day Service works best for documents delivered to me the night before or early in the morning before 8:00 AM. This way they can be processed here in NY State before sending them to Washington, DC for Certification & Embassy Legalization.
If you require a higher (faster) level of service which is above our normal high quality fast service then you can also select from several highly personalized services.
New York City, Yonkers, Mount Vernon, Pelham, Eastchester, Scarsdale, New Rochelle, Larchmont, Mamaroneck & Long Island only.
Service is completed within three hours of receipt of your document.
Document must be received by 8:00 AM that day or must be received by 7:00 PM Eastern Time for the following days work. Documents received after 8:00 AM may not be process that day. Documents received late on Friday may not be processed until Monday.
This service is not available on Saturday, Sunday, Holidays, during Major Snow Storm or unexpected natural or civil interruption of service.
If you do not wish to take advantage of our expedited service or you are satisfied with your current level of service or if you're not in a rush to get your documents process and returned, then you can skip this Step and go to step 6.
Next, How do you want you documents returned to you?
Fee - Step 6
If your document is being return to you locally (in NYC), you can skip this step since all service comes with Free Courier service within the New York City & Long Island (LI) area. Otherwise, select the type of return mail service you desire for your documents to be returned to you. we use FedEx for our mail service.
FedEx has 5 delivery times for Domestic deliveries:
- First Overnight 8:00 AM
- Priority Overnight® 10:30 AM
- Standard Overnight® 3:00 PM
- 2Day® Next day 7:00 PM
- Express Saver® 3 Days 7:00 PM
FedEx has 2 International deliveries:
- First Overnight $110.00+, 1 to 3 days
- Priority Overnight® $50.00+, up to 8 days

Domestic delivery options:

If you do not select anything your document will be return via local courier or US Postal Service Mail if you are in the New York City (NYC) & Long Island (LI) area. Otherwise, your mail will be returned by US Postal Service Mail (3 days most US locations). If you are not selecting this option then Go to "View My Fees - Step 7" and verify your charges.

Now, view your charges by clicking on the "View Cart" button. If you not sure that you need a certain service or make a mistake and add charges that are not required for your document to be process, We will refund these charges to you if they have not been used.

Witness Testimony
If I am required to travel to multiple locations, spend 10 minutes or more while I wait for an Attorney or Para Legal to collects evidence or scribes a testimony, so that NYNOTARY4U can be notarize it, then you must use this fee schedule.
This fee is in addition to my Mobile Notary Travel Fee.
Witness Testimony Fees:
- My rate is $100.00 for a 2 hour session with a minimum of 2 Hours.
- After the 2nd hour my rate is $50.00/hour.

Notary Public Fees
As per New York State Notary Public License Law: A notary public shall be entitled to the following fees:
- For administering an oath or affirmation, and certifying the same when required, except where another fee is specifically prescribed by statute, $2.00.
- For taking and certifying the acknowledgment or proof of execution of a written instrument, by one person, $2.00, and by each additional person, $2.00, for swearing such witness thereto, $2.00.

We're trying out something new this month. If you want the lowest cost for your Apostille Stamp you can do it via the mail. If you send me your document via the mail, We will be happy to assist you in getting your Apostille. Via mail Apostille are just $55.00.
Document must be properly notarized by a NYC/Long Island notary, before sending it to me. Additional Apostille are the same price. Be sure to include an Air Bill or SASE for return mail. Apostille without return postage will not be returned.
Price does not include domestic or international shipping. The size of the Apostille is 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper. If you don't want your Apostille bent, be sure to include an large enough envelope to hold it with the correct postage.
