Since, the Notary Public is traveling to you the cost of this service carries a Premium price tag, (it cost a little more). Since, most services are rendered during evening or weekends when a regular notary business is closed for the day.
The Notary Public signature is governed by the New York Secretary of State but the additional fee covers the cost of travel to your location, the time of day and the amount of time required to travel to the locations of your choice and the length of time spent to complete the Notary signing.

What is a Signing Agent?
The term "Signing Agent" means a notary public who conducts loan signings. Another name for a "Signing Agent" is witness-only loan closer.
I assist major lenders in the final stage of loans. I bring your loan documents to the borrower or you, assist them in the proper executions of each document, notarize signatures where required, obtaining all other signatures and initials on the documents and then return the documents to the lenders by overnight carrier.
